hello again, i am new to this site. i really do enjoy all the extra inputs and help.. i have a 1985 200x that im getting ready to put back together. fresh bore and hone to 60 over.. 3 angle valve job,k&n air filter,dg full pipe. im running a 115 main and 40 pilot, clip in the middle postion.. ran ok but my compression was low.. now ive got everything ready to put back together.. any tips i should know about// oh ya im running a 14/38 gear with 22x11-8 tires.. kinda of a turd on the bottom end.. any help would be great..thanks again

Just be sure to download and refer to the service manual. This will give you the proper procedure for making sure the cam is timed properly, torque values (please use a torque wrench), where to use sealant, etc. Do it by the book, and you should be good.

less is more when it comes to using your gasket sealant on the rocker cover. Use HT Hondabond. Also, 115 is a pretty high main for 10.25 piston/3 angle valve/pipe/ and filter. I would think if you were running a 12:1 piston/port and polish/aggressive cam/possibly a stroker you could then run a 115 or 118 main, otherwise I would jet down to a 110 and wouldn't mess with the stock pilot. Its probably bogging because of too much fuel from the larger pilot at 1/4 throttle. Just a thought.
