i picked this up a few weeks ago. its a 84 200x. the guy i bought it from had set it up for ice racing, the local track is in sioux falls. he let this go because he found a 350x
its in great shape mechanically and cosmetically, the only blemishes were a couple small dings in the gas tank. it could use the valves adjusted (slight tick sometimes, its not all the time) and forks redone. thats about the only work it needs.
its had a topend rebuild after last season to be competitve for racing, the motor was ported and polished. a xr200 or custom grind cam was installed. i has a k&n filter/outerwears lid, and i believe the exhaust is a super trap. it has a 12x9 douglas rim in front, proarmor teather. it has a rebuilt stock carb also.
i bought this to convert to a sand trike. so far ive only done small things.
i removed the rear fenders, took the number plate off and swapped a 03 blaster nose to it. painted the tank matte black, updated honda stickers. got some 8x9 rims and put 18x8x9.5 six paddle sidewinders on them. i picked up a mikuni vm26ss 29mm carb for it.

heres after the first ride(got muddy:)) with the blaster nose on it.
i was wondering if there are fork rebuild kits for the 200x all i can seem to find is seals. or should i swap to a 250r fork? ive at least found spring kits for them. also what are the 200x forks filled with air, oil, or nitrogen?
im having a hard time trying to find a sand tire for the front. any suggestions?
comments and suggestions welcome
