Yes, The Cal-Fab was aluminum. The oem 86-87 Tecate swingarm is also aluminum, and when used on the 84-85 is a +2".. The dogbone mount on the swingarm must be moved from the 86-87 (offset) to the 84-85 (centered) though.

I pretty much grew up between king rd and pound ...and beyond , if you need a hand with parts or anything I may have a few or know where to grt them local.Not a calfab though

+2 I would consider perfect for all around mx, trail riding, sand, and woods

Stock length is too short for anything but circle track.. The Tecate I rode with a stock swinger had lots of power and was a serious handful to ride.

I've never used the 86-87 swingarm setup. Quite a few guys on here have.
