My 1985 has a new carb on it from ebay, ran great for a month. Now it starts and idles great but when you give it throttle it dies. Plenty of fresh fuel. No matter how slight or aggressive I apply throttle it falls on its face and dies like its starving for fuel. What do I need to do?
Gas is clean as it has a new plastic tank on it.
Thanks
Tim :(

Sounds like the main jet is clogged . Are you running inline fuel filters ?

Agreed with shortline...pop the carb off and give it a good cleaning, a fresh spark plug, and make sure you air filter is clean and you should be good to go.
