250R Steering Stabilizer?

Just got an 86 250r a few weeks ago.... found a little shock with the words "Ram Sta--" connected to the steering neck and frame. Looks like it was made to for the bike.

anyone else seen one? are they still available, or is it just a mod from back in the day?

They aren't available anymore. I have one for my 86 250r, and I have one on my 84 Tecate. Got any pics of it mounted?

Calfab swingarm... didn't seem to be extended, Durablue axel, an unlabled afm muffler, kn filter, and a 'roost boost plus' we
weren't quite sure what exactly that was. Figured it was a good deal being a running bike that still had plastics at $900 we didn't notice all the goodies 'till after we got 'er home. :)

Definitely a great deal.. The Roost Boost was really just a gimmick.. But they did look cool.. :-)

heheh, that it does, got it from a guy here in colorado who at one point had 13 hondas. he still has an 85 200r for 900 (though i'd say its not as nice) and an 84 he wants 500 for... he also has a 350x (omg it is gorgeous) for 1400 <<<wish i had the cash for that !

I bought a setup like that back in the 80,s It was for the 85-86 250r. It came with the mounting brackets and hardware to move one radiator out about 3/4" to clear the ram shaft up to the lower triple.

The dampener is a volkswagon beetle type. So if you need the ram their easy to get. It ended up on my old 350x and now Minty has it.

I'd love to see a pic of one mounted on a honda 250r as well... I bought an el-cheapo off fleebay a while back & havent mounted it yet
