Hey Now I was wondering if anyone knew how to remove the speedometer hub from my front wheel? I am trying to replace the bearings and can't get the dang thing off? Thanks. My wheelers a Honda 250es, Some guy bought it new for his kid and he didnt like it!!! So it sat in a barn for all these years! Its like brand new off the showroom floor. I have been collecting and rebuilding Honda wheelers and I have never seen one in this good of condition. Just replaced the battery and oil and cleaned the carb and started right up. This is the first one I have come across with a speedometer so any help with getting that hub off will be awesome! Thanks

Tap around it with a rubbet hammer, it just pushes in

if you have the axle out soak it in oil for a few days and use the rubber mallett as stated...

It does just slide on. Most likely the axle is froze up in the hub if it don't just slide out. You might have to carefully press the axle out.
