hello... A little history on the trike- I bought this beast a few months ago from a friend that had let it sit outside for 2 or 3 years... I just figured out all of its issues and have fixed them all except for this last one. I could not figure out why it was running soooo lean and after a couple carb clean outs and a carb rebuild I finally decided to take the intake tube into work with me and test it on our vacume leak check machine. Well it leaked like crazy! So I ordered a used one off ebay and after waiting 2 weeks it finally arrived... Well I put it on and It had the same problems (it was a little better but not like it should) ---it was classic vacume leak problems such as running better with the choke on and idling poorly, so, I sprayed the hell out of the intake-to-engine area with carb clean and it ran great for 30 seconds or so and went back to the same ole same ole. Sooooo, my big question is: is there a good way to fix these? or is there a better one off a different trike that I can use? I noticed that on ebay alot of them have the very same cracks that my original one had.... there has to be some solution to this because it appears to be a common failure to have that rubber crap separate from the aluminum on the intake. Let me know if you all have any ideas or solutions! thanks for reading!

I was reading on here somewhere about a guy that was using a rubber repair compound on one and it seemed to work for him or you can order a brand new one from a honda dealership for around 35$
