So I got my honda 110atc to run after I cleaned the carb. I got the main jet (the tall one where the needle slides) clean with a good soak.
Now what is the other jet called and should I be able to see light all the way thru??? Cuz I can't.
I'm not sure but I was so impatient to get her to run I put it all back together. It runs but bogs and has no low end.
Please let me know in how many ways I screwed up. Thanks!!!

Pilot jet, and yes you should be able to see threw it. Looks like you will have to take it back off and try to clean it out. You can use small wire to poke threw it but just be careful you dont break the wire off inside the jet.

Yes as said the pilot jet needs cleaned . Be careful some are pressed in and others screw in depending on the year 110.

x3

I used an .008" guitar string for years until I discovered a .010"
should fit.
They get some hard, crusty stuff in there.
They also say never to use wire on jets.

I've also soaked them in a bottle cap with a little carb cleaner overnight.

Just because the jets are clean doesn't mean the internal passages are clear.
so blow them out too.

What is teh actual size of the jet opening? Is it .010" or more?
