I have a 85 ATC 125M that cuts out really bad when its in second gear under part throttle. It's so bad that it acts like it looses all power, kicks back in and runs strong for a few seconds until it repeats. In 1st gear it will run all day, just acts up bad going through the gears. I pulled the plug and it is black and oily. No smoke at all. I adjusted the air screw every way possible to see if anything changes, but it does not. The air screw seems to adjust the idle slightly, then speeds up acting like it has a vacuum leak. The motor will not die when it is screwed all the way in. I adjusted the valves, fixed the stopper paw, cleaned all electrical connections, and fixed the rear brakes so it is getting there. Any tips or ideas ideas before I dig into the carb?? I have never touched a bike before I got this thing a little over 2 weeks ago. Thanks, Brian
