I did use the search before starting this thread with no luck. My question is about storing a trike vertical, on its end, or up against a wall. Does this have any adverse effects to the trike. I mean I have seen people do it, but never done it myself. And if so, is there anything you need to prep before doing so? As storage space seems to get smaller and smaller it seems to be a good solution to get a little more space. And once stored up-right can you just pull em down and crank it up? Thanks.

random thoughts are:
gas cap may leak if it's vented.
It's also the top vote to prevent tank rust is to keep the tanks full.
so vertical would give us a fist sized airspace for condensation.
Carb may drip out when stood up.

It's actually on my to do list so I can double my storage space too.

Anything bizarre? like the oil drains out of the oil pump and starts up dry?
doubtful, I hope.

Shut the fuel off, run the carb dry, and stand it up against the wall is all I do. No leaks, no problems or adverse affects yet.

thats how I stored my 250R for a year. Thats how we have transported bikes for local rides as well as to TF2008 in the cattle trailer we used to hold a dozen or so bikes lol

The 'old timers' at work tell me if you store them vertically. You should turn the motor a couple times before starting to circulate oil to the top end.
