I have an 84 200X air cooled trike. I was wandering is it possible to fit an 250r trike engine(whatever year might be able to fit), Can I put it into a 200X frame? Or could i put a CR 250r engine into? If so what mod's would I have to do in order to get the engine in the frame? thanks for the help.

It's not an easy project, and not worth it. Buy a 250r if you want one

the 250r will tear the 200x frame up , its not strong enough, buy a lifen 200 or 200s moter for your 200x frame or buy a 250r good luck

IMO, not much. Most guys do it to take advantage of an automatic clutch. Also, its an easy swap between an x and an s motor. On my 200x's I prefer to have a clutch, that's what sets them apart and makes them an X.

i agree just sell the 200 and buy a 250r if you want a faster trike or be happy with the 200 as it is
