Hey I was wondering if anybody has replaced their centrifugal clutch with one from a timberwolf or beartracker?I have been doing some searching and came across this as an option.I'm also wondering if I could use the new timberwolf clutch with the original clutch housing from the 225dx or am I just wishful thinking. Not that I wouldn't love to buy all brand new parts and slap em in but all together everything is about 400$.Or if anybody has any other Ideas that are on the cheap I'm all ears. Thanks in advance.

go on cheap cycle parts and look at the part numbers, i have a 225 as well, but i never tried it, but cheap cycle parts should have some in stock although they are around 200 dollars

I saw just last night that babbits sports center still has oem 225 dx centrifugal clutches for 213$, so if they do why not go original. http://www.hondapartshouse.net/pages/OemParts?aribrand=HOM#/Yamaha/TRI-MOTO_-_YTM225DXN_-_1985/CLUTCH/YTM225DXN_%281985_ALL_TERRAIN_VEHICLE%29/CLUTCH_%28YTM225DXN_-_1985%29

Thanks muthey.

I always like to reference through babbits, however even if they say they have the part it doesn't mean they actually have it i have learned.
