Does any body know if a lifan 125 or 140cc would work as a replacement motor on a 77 atc 90. Also are these lifans any good? Any other motor suggestions?

Thanks. I do not know what I want to do as my engine does not run right and it has no gears in high or low range. I figured itd be just as easy to get a new motor and id like to get one with more guts than the 90

:idea:the lifen moters are based on the 70 so the cases are smaller /different then the 90/110 . that said i think wth some mods you could make one work .. I would rebuild the 90,or find a 110 moter to rebuild , if the budjet is not a prob, pm shortline and get a top built 90/110 based moter that would be the best option:cool: imo good luck :D:D:beer:beer

:eek:if you have to ask , then you cant afford it , but if you look at his build threads you will see what he can do with those little engines,:drool::Bounce:beer:D:cool:

here is my other idea a 0ld 110 motor is the same except for the front motor mount which is probably what ill do. or i could rebuild the 90 engine, but i havnt done that before accept for a chevy 400 motor lol.
