i should have set up the video, and watched him swallow the whole thing, got to excited, and just snapped these pics! my sweethart son started balling when the snake let go and the toad was a mess! they went under the deck to finish there buisness, and i went inside to find my son and explain the food chain!lol

The toad eats the bugs, the snake eats the toad. Works out pretty well I guess

ya, he's a girthy one for sure!! i come around the house today, and there he is sunning himself by the deck again!! Pretty bold creature, i walked right by several times, and he just layed there! No prey this time though!

yeah lol, after that toad hes good for awhile!!!! That was a big toad!!

and yes its a garter not a gardener, I always correct people on that one...;)

I would rather have toads around than snakes... Not a fan of snakes. Don't know why, I just don't care for em.

Dang! I can't tell if its a big snake or a big frog, either way i didnt think garters got that big! HAHAHA MY first thought was " holy crap is a rattle snake!" lol I don't know enough about snakes
