View Full Version : The word "Restored" gets tossed around too much these days.

From what I read at the top of the ad I was expecting to see a real nice low hour bike. Then I seen the pic. Yes very nice trx none the less. Some things just don't add up though, If its was only rode once a year why did it need all these parts replaced? Also If it never lost a top end before why is it on a .040 overbore?? It seems alittle odd to me but I'd still love to own it.

I agree with "restored" being over-used. Looks more like a rebuild. Still a nice TRX, and he is probably selling it for what he has into it or maybe even taking a loss.

For that price you can find a true original machine. My buddy just picked up an 87 with 75% tread stock tires, original bore, etc for $2000. I took pics and was gonna post them up in the quad section.
