need help with this vin number please

i was looking for parts for my 200x and a guy was advertising wot i needed and the picture looks alot like the part i want.the frame number was on the add.so tried to cross it off with the spec sheet on this site but cant find it.can any body else work this out

he says its a 1982 atc 250x vin no=jh3tbo522dc278973

the 10 letter is a D its a 83..

If my memory is corect there was no such thing as a 250x 3 wheeler.

I think your o should be a zero.

i didnt think they made a 250x either but wasnt 100% sure

ive tried using that link munroemike but cana get nothin from it,i did check the spec page and the 200x does seem to be it.the guy mybe cana spell properly.haha.cheers for the help
