my email that gets no response.

this bike is often found for 650 to 800 in good running condition.

the damage to the crank shaft is unrepairable ...the stripped splines and threads .

price for parts alone is 400 dollars , crank shaft, seals ,and supporting small parts.ie gaskets and seals.plus whatever the damaged or questionable clone clutch cost to replace.

you add laybor into that to remove the engine, pull the cylinder and split the crankcase, replace the crank.

you get the picture it kills the project in a hurry at a 500 the dollar purchase price.

i would do 300 for it .this not a lowball offer ,just a realistic outlook of the machine.
it is worth more in parts seperate than as a unit.

i only would consider buying this bike for my son and not a running one for more money because its worth fixxing up ,it looks nice ,and is a good father son project.

let me know what you think one way or another please

Thank you

Very fair offer, fair price,,leaning toward a better deal for him. A lot of belt wear in there,,I would get a good one and leave his headaches to him.
