what bore do you run

i got a couple motors to rebuild (top ends). should i go stock bore maybe one size over or should i bore the .... out of it to get more power.

I think its more expensive to re-sleeve than have a machine shop bore to match a larger piston. What engines are they and what bore are they currently?

You are better off boring over only as much as needed to bring the cylinder bore back into spec. Overboring does not net any real, noticeable power gains...

Big bore kits on the other hand are a different story.

i agree with ride red. keep them stock they'll last longer. if you want to go faster get a bigger motor or get a preformance cam, if you can find one.
