New on here, got a few questions to ask. I just got a FREE trike from a friend. He thinks it is a 1985 Yamaha Yt 175 tri moto. Here's the specs I know of, it's yellow with a black seat, no rear suspension but has front suspension/shocks, it's a 2 stroke and has oil injection, if you are sitting on the trike the numbers on the head are 20E00, also 171CM 3. If you were sitting on the trike the numbers on the right rear side are Y-1. Vin # 20E-015397. This bike was the guys best friends when they grew up and he gave it to him for his son to have. He did not want his son to have it due to no where legal to ride around us. So befor ethe id gets old enough to wantbto ride it he figured it's time to get it out of site. It needs a bunch of work. Index to know what size and year it is? What type ofn2 stroke oil is needed and does anyone add a bit more to the gas just in case? What type of gear oil And how much to add? What's the best spark plug for this model? How hard is the carb rebuild and where can i get a new rebuild kit from? It also has no air box, they said an animal made a two story nest out of it. The good news, i pull the choke and it starts on the 1st or 2nd pull as it sits, and it goes.... Thanks for the help!:wondering

Ebay some times has a air box also even a yt125 will work. I have every yamaha trike and i like the 175 but mine is worked.
