 So last summer we bought our first trike an early 80s 200cc trikenstein and wanted another trike because the 200 won't keep up with my CR480R...I found an ad on Portland CL for a 86 200x , so we drove north for an hour and met the guy at a gas station(hint 1). the trike started on the 1st pull but when I asked about the starter on it his answer was very vague and he said the air box was where the battery should go(hint 2). No year & model sticker.(hint 3)Almost all my ?s were answered with "the previous owner did it.." Oil looked good, spark plug was old but clean, chain made some noise, front shocks and 3trees were not stock.
I knew better but my excitement overrode my common sense, usually:mad: SHE would step in at this point and pop my bubble with a rusty pin but HER usual sneer was replaced by a shocking grin of consent so I eagerly handed over three bills and rolled it off the bed of his chevy right into the back of my Blazer:D
Now here is where my glow of triumph faded fast...I unloaded the trike and started a list of goodies to buy, then I did what I should have done before jumping in my truck with my hard earned duckets... I logged on to 3wheelerworld.com to price and research my project...:(After a few grueling hours I was no nearer to finding out ...WHAT THE HELL DID I BUY!!!:wondering
