I agree with what you have all said. I personaly try avoid the boys in blue as much as I can. I feel they have way to much power and need to be regulated. If there any other "gangs" that acted that way they would not be doing it for long. On 2 differant occasions I have had cop stop and search me for no reason and it drives me nuts

Unfortunately,,this has ALWAYS been my Experience also.. But again,,this video,,IS our Police Force.. I happened to think we've got one GOOD one on here. And Lord knows,,he sees this " entitlement " in his " brothers" everyday. My Father in law is retired trooper and federal marshal. My niece is a trooper of 7 years now. And my Son is on his way to being a Trooper. Hopefully this crap is cleaned up before he gets there...

This makes me fu$%ing sick, after having just traveled through the state of PA twice in the last week, this makes me think twice about doing it again. I know this is not just an isolated issue to PA, but this is out of control, every single one of these troopers need to be fired and jailed for this incident. This is what is wrong with Law Enforcement in this world. Not all, but too many Law Enforcement officials have a "god" complex thinking that they can do whatever they want whenever they want. I think more involved, an deeper psychological screening needs to be done of people who want to become Law Enforcement, to try and weed out these people who develop these "god" complexes while on the job.

This type of s$%t needs to stop. Something needs to be done about this, but it will never happen because there is too much corruption in the Law Enforcement world these days, it is always a cover-up and there is always someone there to sweep stuff like this under the rug.

The first thing that I am going to say is that this is an absolute disgrace. There is no reason that man should have gotten half of the punishment that he did. Those officers were obviously way out of line, we all know that.

With that being said, you guys need to realize in ANY profession there are bad apples. Almost everyone who has posted thus far has lumped the entire police force across the country in with these jack azzes. Everywhere you go, whatever group people are in, there are going to be bad apples. That's just life. There's no need to start slandering the entire police force. I just got back a couple of days ago from Trikefest '12 and there were a handful of incidents that I personally witnessed and a couple others that I heard of that I personally do not agree with. Does that mean all trikers are bad people? Should I sell my trikes and never attend Trikefest again? Hell no. There are bad apples in every bunch with any group out there.

A personal friend of mine who is a police officer was awarded the medal of valor about a month ago. A junkie had burst into a local pharmacy and taken both workers and customers hostage in an attempt to rob them of pills. My friend charged into the store and tackled the crack head. He was taken into custody and there were no injuries. He did his job just like so many of the boys in blue do every day. Funny how you don't hear about these things, but people can't wait to jump in the bash wagon the second some jack azzes mess up. Yes, they did wrong. So all cops are bad? Not in my opinion. To me the things you guys are saying is a bad as racism. Lumping an entire group in with some bad guys. These men will all lose their careers I am sure and hopefully do some jail time. That's what they get. Should every other cop out there do time as well for the actions of these men? The way you guys talk you've already got every other cop on the force judged, tried, and hanged.

My girlfriend got pulled over last week while I was away at Trikefest and they went through her stuff. Well low and behold her debit card came up missing. It's quite obvious where it went, but what are you gonna do? Bad apples guys.

I do not wish any ill will towards any of you guys, but I do hope someday the day comes where you feel the need to thank a cop.

My post was not meant to discredit all LEO's, but to show that there are indeed some bad apples out there and more needs to be done to filter through these bad apples before giving them a badge and a gun, and releasing them out to prey upon civilians. It is a sad state of affairs that our country is falling into and this is just one of our many many problems. I know plenty of great cops, and seem to meet more all the time, but there are just many that are on that "power trip" or have the "god" complex.

I guess I should share my story......

I have a 1000 units in the woods near me. They had a pile of broken 12 x 24 concrete flat blocks.

They cost about 2$. I had grabbed a few but needed a couple more. Someone saw my back rack shaking with 3 blocks on it. I thought it was a resident so I stood up and scrammed out of there.

Just as I got at the end and headed to my home I heard a punched throttle. It was a cop the my stupid neighbor called the cops so they were out there.

I got 20' on my land and the cop RAN me down and my Univega bike useless. He got out of the car, I placed my hands up and the cop screamed for help, I was trapped; The cop screamed "STOP RESISTING!!!"

Yep, all this over 3 flat crap blocks or less than 25$. But that cop pulled a gun and stuck it in my chest while yelling me. I stayed as relaxed as possible and he still attacked me.

He said he'd nail me with "Grand Larceny" The property manager told them I didn't have any of their material the next day when they looked.........

Where I live,,this IS and always HAS been the way it is. My personal experience with them would literally turn into a NOVEL. I had 5 machines stolen,told them WHO took them,where they probably went. Nothing,,the perp swore up down and sideways he'd take a polly..5 th time he no showed they cold cased it.. This is a LONG story I'm abbreviating. My wife needed back surgery at the time,I still had my cows,,she had waited 2 months for an open MRI> We missed that appt,and waited another month with her suffering,, listening to the " detective" spew his lies at me. When they closed it,I asked them what this guys Federal Parole officer had to say about this,,he said,,you know,,I probably should have called him! I hung up on him. Fast forward a year. When I sold more Honda Ranchers and Foremans one month than a buddy of theirs, who's a Honda dealer..I get home with my family from grocery shopping @ 8:30 at night. My parents were still living alone,,they had seen a cop go up the road and park at the edge of the woods.. Not 1,not 2,, THREE State Police cars waiting for me at my home,,because " someone" hadn't gotten their title in a timely matter. I went in the house,got the title for the Quad Racer he traded and the title to the trashed LT250 he took. I explained he never payed his tax and title ,therefore I couldn't send it in yet. The 2 titles layed on the hood of the " Cheif Vehicle Fraud Investigations unit Squad car" He then started in about I couldn't be selling ATV's without every potential buyer showing proof of insurance!! I said you must have fallen recently and hit your head. One cop laughed ,the other left because I didn't really seem like the type of call they were gonna need this much force for. I said,,IF,this was business hours,,where you would be ok to be out here harrassing me,,we could call DCNR and THEY could explain the ATV laws to you. But since you're here.. We're gonna be busy. We are going thru EVERY single atv,snowmobile,tractor,car,truck,lawnmower,weed whip,chainsaw,bulldozer Plow,disc,harrow,blower,,etc......... on this farm.. EVERY title in my Posession,and you WILL find a LEGITIMATE reason to be out here tonight! Because I KNOW why you're here! He's already FLOWN his plane over the farm,and sent Honda Pics!!! My Honda dealer and I are laughing our asses off at your buddy!!!! Long story short,,they had NO CLUE where to look for a VIN # on a bike or ATV or sled. Their flashlights got tired and so did they. Yes,,I have had my LIFE full of these clowns. BUT,,it is a FEW bad apples. The bravery and justice REAL cops deal out on a regular basis is basically Unthankable. Like Military. That vid Fabio posted of the robbery in progress speaks volumes. I realize the Adrenaline and stress the cops in this vid were pumping. But what happened here,,happened,,for real,and it only BEGAN with the cops. District justice allowed them to disconnect the satellite feed. DA jumped onboard,, Memorial Hospital is KNOWN around here for KILLING patients,,worst hospital around.. Jail, PSP oversight committee..And the ass clowns that perpetrated it,are on OUR roads here everyday. NOT a real comforting feeling. I too appreciate "proper" law enforcement and realize it is a thankless job to the good officers out there in the world.

But I too have been at the short end of the stick by the law. Not by any wrong doings of us. We have had property stolen from us, had papers, knew where the property was, the cops did nothing. A number of years ago I spent hundreds of hours investigating and tracking down someone who was getting loans on my identity, relayed all info to the cheif investagator of the internet crime task force, nothing done...

You see far more of these pumped up scorned officers abusing power than you see of the good people cops. We have had them pull people over with quads around here just to badger us with them on the trailer threatening to take them if we didnt show ownership papers..I had a Ohio Stae Trooper yelling at me, because I had a designated driver hauling me home from a ride area on private property and he couldnt bust me for a DUI, Disrespected my friend (The driver) even after showing him is Military ID card..
Once he knew he had nothing on us, he turned to a real prick..Sorry but he did.

I just have had way too many negative interactions with the police than positive..I am not saying they are all bad. When I serviced the Sheriff's fleet 75% of them guys were very cool.

I suppose you can look at just like any other job and the people performing it..You have good employee's and bad.
Then you have the govt trying to interject these "new ideas" of a potential "police state" society where noone has any freedom to do anything, and quite honestly, has alot of People shy of leaving their own homes anymore.
The whole pull someone over for a licsense plate light just to search the car, is rediculous, but they drive right buy numerous traffic violations everyday. At least that is what we see.
