1966 Ford Fairlane 289 2 door hard top. All original other than wheels and exhaust. I still have the original hub caps though. My dad bought it in 1974. He also has 3 other 66 Fairlanes.

1977 Ford F-150 4x4 460 4-speed. I bought this in 2005 for $700. Built the 460 inplace of the 351m and redid the rest of it in 2009-2010. A friend painted it. Show quality job.

Nice vehicles so far guys. I just bought this a few months ago from the second owner. This was used by Gale Banks as their prototype truck for their f-250 sidewinder all terrain project. Back in 2005 they built a ford, dodge and chevy and this was one of them. It also was in the diesel power magazine. I did call and talk to one of the techs at Banks and he said they only did 3 or 4 total of these trucks and he confirmed that it was their truck. Every time i get in this thing to drive it i feel like a kid again!150050

Well, my DD is a '90 GMC 1500. Lowered all around, roll pan bumpers, shaved tailgate with the lip on top. Paint is less than a year old, but it's already got a few places in it, tailgate especially......DD woes. 383 stroker TBI, mostly stock, with a 700r4 auto. When I get this ESC problem fixed I'll be back to getting nearly 20mpg, so I can live with a slightly pussyfooted motor. Rocking a 220w head unit, a 500w Phoenix Gold amp, and two MTX 12s behind the seat. Not bad for a single cab.

The current project - 1965 Dodge D100. I'm doing a resto mod to make it as close as possisible tomwhat the U.S. army would have ordered if they had stopped using power wagons earlier on. I have a military truck as a donor, a 1969 D500 that my grandfather owned. He bougt it from Fort Knox, and used it to haul farm equipment. The 65 will get everything from the cab forward from the 69 including the engine and transmission. Before he stopped using it, that motor was built from the block up. It is still very strong, and has only been run around 800 miles since that rebuild.

The clear on that coat is starting to lift and there are 2-3 trouble areas. Passenger drip rail and near mirror and random front rock chips. I want to 2 tone it, go back a bit closer to the factory green and do a cream between the chrome strips all the way around. Just savin my pennies. I have been getting some crazy stupid quotes around 15k. Seems a bit high IMHO

Wow 15k!! Too much! I went to college for auto body and one of the guys in class had a 79 f150 short bed. We took alot of it down to bare metal, etched it, primed, sealed, based and cleared it the factory navy blue ford color and the cost for just the paint materials was around $2500. Thats not including the body filler he bought that on his own along with the new body panels. I think he had around $3500 in everything. Nothing extreme just a nice looking daily driver. I'm think around 7k if he paid someone to do that truck would have been about right. We used Sherwin Williams on it too not exactly the cheapest paint system either to use.

That is about where I was. 8-9k I felt was more than reasonable. Not a show truck. Don't even have to Wrap the doors/hood etc. 3 quotes 15/15 and 'more than 15.' Mind u this is me sourcing all trim/clips Etc. That is what made me irritated and also no warrantee. I was a bit miffed

Well, here's a recent pic of the back window of an '06 Silverado I bought about a month ago. Really like my Silverados, I got 154k out of my '01 I traded in towards this one. Engine and driveline still ran super strong but the frame and body was going to crap on it. And with all the boat/wheeler/firewood hauling I do, it was time to upgrade.

I'll post a couple more pics tomorrow, this is the only one I have for now... Don't pick on me too much about my crooked Honda wings, I had a tough time getting them straight due to their size....I'll probably get 2 more and try again. ;)

buddy of mine had a really nice 350xr never got to ride it but he loved it for a cursing. I know one thing though if you ever get tired of the xr600 you can always convert it in to a trike, tapper190 did the 500x last year, but he has now drooped in the 600 for this year.

I'll have to look that up, I've always wondered what one of these motors would do in a 350x.

Love that color of green on yours! I've had this 76 F-250 highboy for about 7 years now. It has the 360 c-6 in it. Nothing speacial but I will restore it some day. I've always been a fan of the 73-79 body style.

Yeah, its a 96 Eddie Bower edition Explorer. It has 205,000 miles. Just picked it up from a police officer off craigslist for $600. It has some rust issues and I hope it passes PA inspection by December. Runs great and shifts good. All wheel drive sould be great in the snow. Right now it gets about 16 mpg average.

And the focus yes a focus. I typically dont like little 4 banger razzers but this was a dd that turned into a fun project. It drives me nuts when i see the civic guys who think thay have incredibly fast cars haha so I took my 02 focus sedan dd with a trailprotrailprotrailprotrailpro spi that dumped a valve a couple of months ago.
I Did a 5pd zetec swap with some goodies, mild cam aftermarket tb, header full stainless magnflow exhaust intake tune along with svt focus suspenion package including larger sway bars and just for a laugh removed spare tire back seats carpets etc. I know it still isnt fast but it handles great and keeps ahead of the civ's haha

Also the car was twillight blue or something, I invested in some better spray gear and used it to improve my paint skills, came out decent i think anyway

Two '88 Thunderbird Turbocoupes and an '88 Ranger GT. The gray TC has 78K miles and still smells like new inside! :w00t: The black one is my daily and has a bunch of boltons and pushing 25psi. The Raner is mostly stock.

They did try lighter, ended up slower in fact. Ballance between hooking and spinning I guess.
0-60 in mine was reported as 2.7 sec. New car is only a touch faster, reported at 2.6. Gonna give a rear engine a try
