Kawasaki 650 x2 jetski.. might be getting one today.. what do y'all think?

Hey folks!
An auction for a cheap running Kawasaki x2 jet ski is ending today that i might win. I picked the Kawasaki because the older ones are cheap and parts for them are dirt cheap. I also picked it because I wanted a stand up but also if I got tired and lazy I can sit on it too, its not the fastest ski in the water, but since this is my first ski, it should be good to go for at least the end of the season, then im thinking about doing a full rebuild with some typical 2 stroke improvements over the winter, like a high compression head, some small porting, and intake and exhaust improvements. so anyone else on here have one? do ya like it?

I have a buddy that used to have one. They are Fun Fun Fun and its a sit down that thinks its a standup.

i have a x2 its fun i got a few carb issues but thier pretty simple.

yeah thats why this one is so cheap, needs a carb rebuild.. but comes with a carb kit, and i can put it on (why me? lol) and try it out before i pay for it lol...

but for what it is just run it and enjoy it thier only worth a grand tops. i got mine for next to nothgin and cleaned carb and it runs pretty good. but i think even the 95 is only blue books for liek 800

as long as it starts and runs with gas int he intake its worth gettign they are simple and fun but i wouldnt pay more than 500 for one

I have a 94 X2 that I would never part with! They are one of the funnest skis ever made! That and you actually get wet riding one unlike the new sitdown barges of today.

yeah for sure the new injected 2 strokes are the wave of the future... watch evinrudes youtube video of a Yamaha vs their e-tec same hp the Yamaha looses lol.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_-7I00cZUE0 and i think its lake tahoe which used to ban all 2 strokes, now allows the e-tec, and runs them on their patrol boats lol sorry saw your signature and had to comment on it..
