Just took the tank of my 70, and the frame looks bent! Looks bent up, like someone jumped it? How can I fix it? Or does this look correct?

Wow, that's the first one I've seen go that way! You MAY be able to pull back evenly on the forks with two come alongs on both sides of the frame but not sure how successful that would be.I'm thinking you're going to have to disassemble everything, flip it over and get it into a press. Hopefully one of the experienced 70 guys will chime in. Good luck.

It looks to me like someone "overstraightened" it. I did the same thing to mine to increase the rake a little, and welded small angle iron on each side to strengthen it. I would just reinforce it and ride!

is it a jumping trike? and how much do you weigh? Not to be intruding, but they could bend if you take flight with it and weigh over a said amount of weight

Yeah i'd just do what he did, put a reinforcement bracket on it

if you brace it, i say put the brace along the top like murf did on his. maybe grind the ends down a bit to match the curve of the frame if your not going to straighten it.

murf's project thread, http://www.3wheelerworld.com/showthread.php/143085-My-new-70-project
