So i just got my 85 atc 70 back from the neighbors, and i'm rebuilding the whole thing. last time it ran, it popped and ticked without stopping. Dad says to run a product called sea foam in it & it cleans the system completely , but i also saw a guy with the same problem just buy new points & a condenser & that solved the problem. he said the pad on the points were worn, but mine aren't. Here's a pic though(more to come).

i plan to buy new tires, repaint, and maybe front suspension. A light is possible and so are handlebars, but you get the picture.

Really looking into front forks, if anyone knows what kind of suspension (bike take-offs/ brands) are used, please let me know !

I bought some front forks off of ebay from a BW80 to put on one of my 70s. They require a little modification but I have seen it done before.

Thanks, i'll look around. I also have seen on a few that they have the gas tank from a small honda bike? is there a specific size or is it just any xr/ crf tank?
