He wants $5500 he says it is worth $10,000, he is crazy to think it is worth that much.

Right. You never get your money back in a build, NEVER. I mean it is a clean first Gen R, but it is far from original, so is value is way off.

Nice looking bike. Prolly something you could buy and ride. I wish it was worth $10k, then I would be sitting on a gold mine as well. The only people that would spend $5500 on a trike are either looking for an all original showroom machine, full on race bike that has more $ then that invested(def not this bike) or just a full on idiot with a wallet. If that trike was for sale around here he might get $1500 TOPS! but it would take forever to sell and it would have to be perfect.
