Hey guys

Just picked up a 86 250r. Looks like the float needle seat is done for :(. The fuel gushes out the vent tubes even after adjusting to the 16mm settings.
Not an expert on these bikes, but I've read that a carb replacement is in my future. The previous owner certainly didn't have it jetted properly as 1/4 to 3/4 throttle sputters like an Area 51 SCRAM jet engine

What carb is the best replacement for the stock Keihin? Same carb (Did they fix the issue with the float needle not being replaceable?)

What is the proper jetting for K & N and Fatty Toomey pipe, stock motor, stock carb (160, 3rd clip, not sure about pilot yet)

Any people in the South Florida area have the same setup.

thanks :lock:
