So I picked up a 1986 200x last night. Runs good, looks good seems to be pretty close to all original except for the seat cover . Paid $700

The only thing I noticed the rear fender seems to slope down an awful lot. What do you think would cause this; 26 years of gravity and heat?

Those fenders just dont look right for some reason! To long in the rear seems to me! Could just be me though ..

I agree!.... What is it? Would they sag over time?? like from gravity/heat???? Thinking of taking a torch on the seems and trying to raise them up some.

They appear to be the correct fenders although probably Maier. Do you have the stay/fender support under them? #8 in the following link. With out that they will sag.

I think you did GREAT for what you paid! Congrats!
I spy some 350x rear rims there.... Love those. I run a 350x front rim on my R. Those cast wheel centers just look cool to me. Always wondered why Honda only used those style rims on the 350x....
