Definitely a good deal, especially if it's unmolested. Definitely worth it.

$1250 would be alright but the $1600 it's listed for is like the peak of the price range for an 84. Around here I've seen some very nice ones for under $1000

I think 1600 is a little step? Just my 0.2 cents

'ebaccm26' is right..$1000 is a but rich for his area. This is why I look in Michigan for trikes.

Now across the river in Ontario where trikes are worth so much more, it's a good deal if that thing is as clean as it appears..

So you see, the only way to know is to know your area to be sure.

Yes,it needs # plates, grips,Pro link decals, rear tires and a toolbox to be near 100%... But I'll tell you this,,that is one dam clean low hour piece. Good luck trying to find another in that shape.Only looking it over in person can tell you the real story though.

I've had wankers show up and try to tell me facts about my machines that are in their favour and what it's worth, then offer a low ball..they walked away empty handed everytime!!

Sellers like honesty, decide what you want to pay and go see it..

Be straight about what you can spend, if it's a $1000 then tell him that. 'I know it may be worth a few buck more but this is what I can spend and I really would love that machine!!." has worked a few times for me.

Don't tell him what his machine is worth, in his mind he knows and you're likely to piss him off!!

Just that your offer is what you have and see where it goes..

Everyone wants a bigger, better deal..but if the machine is worth it to you..spend more!!

The truely nice clean ones are getting rare..grab the opportunity to own one.

If we could get you to post the Craigslist stuff in the designated forum for Craigslist....That would be great.

Thanks.

I wouldn't pay it and I've never seen one sell that high but I don't feel its really over priced. I'm sure theres room for negotiation built into the asking price. It looks damn nice to me! I love my 1984 250R.
