it is a very nice looking helmet. I believe anything is better than nothing but I don't think I would run a 65.00 helmet that looks good,I would rather run a 2-300.00 that looks like junk. I'm not trying to cut you or your helmet down and please don't take offense. kintore cracked one and stuck with the same thing?he may have had a slight head injury lol. hopefully you only wear it and don't have to "use" it

i think its pretty legit. DOT approved. i think the shoei helments are over rated. my old helment was worn and beat out. so yea it is better than nothing.

They are last years closeouts, they are not bad helmets, usually in the $150 range. As far a cracking on impact, that's not that out of the ordinary, they are designed to absorb the impact up to and including cracking, if you get technical and read the manual, you are basically "supposed to" toss it after an impact and replace it... Basically all (real) helmets meet Snell / DOT standards, the prices tend to increase as the weight goes down or the venting etc improves with the major factor being "Brand Name" association.... that means you $300 Fox helmet with the Monster logo on it will crack as well... In my opinion your better off sinking the 2- 300 into a good neck brace, Helmets are after all are all required to meet the same standard (and if they were really better the manufacturers would increase the testing variables and use those tests to advertise their products and justify their inflated pricing)

Nothing wrong with that helmet Jon Jon, my son has the same one and has been wearing it in the VCHSS series this year with no issues, they are very light and well vented
