Hello, I have a question about my 1980 110 three wheeler. I put a new carb kit on it yesterday and when I went to start it last night it immediately ran with the throttle wide open. I've had this carb off quite a few times over the past years and I've cleaned the carb on my 185 several times too, but never ran into this problem. After starting it, I checked the throttle cable (it ran like the throttle was held wide open) and it seemed a little stiff. I took it all apart again, put it back together, and the throttle seemed to move smoothly. When I started it, it ran wide open again. I guess my questions would be....Could it be anything other than the throttle? And, is there anywhere I can download a drawing of the throttle cable to make sure everything is in the correct location?
Thanks in advance for your help.

sounds like either your slide is turned 180 degrees out or your throttle cable is binding. My money is on your slide is 180 out. Pop your cap off and turn your slide 180 degrees and see if it slide down the throat of the carburetor a little further.

Thanks, guys.... I'll check that when I get home. I remember when I was putting the throttle cable back in, I rotated the "slide" around until it fell into place. It seemed like there was only one way for it to go in, but maybe I'm wrong.

Yep, it can go in two different ways...180 the right way or 180 the wrong way.

Guys....You are awesome. I went home, took it apart, rotated it and it purred like a kitten. Thanks again for your help.
