I've been told that it's the 9th and 10th digit but I'm pretty sure it's not 1933 so a little help would be great cheers

now that you have banshee questions head over to bhq, banshee headquarters, biggest baddest banshee site on the net, your answers will be there.

The 10th digit tells what year it is. It's an 03. They used letters up until the year 2000. A 1993 banshee would have a P for the 10th digit.

I'm no Banshee expert but the 10th digit of the VIN is the year on a 17 digit VIN. You posted "frame number", I think there should be a 17 digit VIN as well? No?

if it has J arms in the front then its an 89 or older. After that, they switched to A arms, and every banshee since then was exactly the same except colors. Theres a website you can find easily with google that tells you what year it is by entering the VIN. also tells you what plant it was manufactured and when. Your VIN should be located on the frame rail under the motor on the side.

The frame no. I've listed is the one that's on left under rotor. I've been told loads that it's the 10th digit but I'm thinking my bike no. Have been restamped.
Not very happy.
Cheers for your help
