Hey guys i just boutht a honda atc 200 three wheeler. I have a question on how to remove the back wheels. The tires are shot cracked ect..... and i just bought 2 new ones for 20 bucks. Walmart will put new tires on for me on the rim for 5 bucks a tire but i dont exactly know how to remove them. One big nut there and 4 small seem like lug nuts. What do i actually have to remove to get the wheels off a picture would be great. Thanks.

Welcome aboard. You want to remove the 4 small lugs, and the wheels will come right off. Hows the rest of the machine? Have any pictures?

Once again welcome.

You can take the rim and tire off by loosening/removing the four smaller nuts. You don't need to take off the big one unless you are changing the hub itself.

Hope this helps.

no

your rims are 8". The tires you bought are for a 9" rim.

What is that - 83 or 84 ATC200s? Good machine - it'll be a lot of fun.

from the sound of it you have 8 inch rims on your wheeler and you bought tires that fit 9 inch rims, so i dont think they will work.

His rims are 8 inch and he needs 8 inch tires or rims that are 9 inch. That would require changing the hubs as well I believe.

i see so the 25-12-9 require dirrerent hubs? then whats on there now

9 inch rims are a different bolt pattern than the 8 inch I believe. I have 25x13-9 on my 83 200 and the hubs that were on my replacement axle were for a 185 and would not fit my 9 inch rims.

Hi I noticed that the 9 inch came with hubs in them already mounted so I guess I lucked out

Just PLEASE remember the cotter pin when you install the hub nut. I know I'm just stating the obvious. I'm not assuming anything mind you.
