1982 Suzuki alt 50

It will start without much problem, but dies out when I give it gas or take off the choke. This was mytrike when I was a kid and trying to get it running for my daughter. I cleaned the carb, but try doing it again. Not sure what else I can do. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Idle jet is plugged.

Give us some pics. There are a few of us that have the ALT 50's on here. thestud25 has the most of any member on here. I bought 1 from him and a few of other members have them too.

Thanks, I will take it apart tomorrow and try to clean it again. I will grab some Pics then to.

Pull the pipe and make sure the brass restricter washer is out, make sure there is not carbon plugging the exhaust port or head pipe, lastly pull the baffle out of the rear of the pipe and make sure that isn't all gummed up.

i had the same problem make sure to clean out both jets on carb also unscrew the nosel that takes the gass in on the carb and remove everything in the nozzle rust and crud builds up there (alot) also make sure none of trailprotrailpro gaskets leak
