yours is a 83 right, this is a 84 with shaft drive, possibly better cosmetics also.

If thats an 84 then someone swapped the rear plastics with another year, they aren't 84 200ES fenders i can tell that for sure!

Bad front end?? I can't say i have ever had any trouble with mine. And the rear end parts are easy to come by, but with the shaft drive you hardly ever have to do anything with them anyway, just clean and grease.

the bottom rust out of the legs and they dont realy have much travel.as for the rear i have seen guys on this site having problems with parts, one year manufacture.

Huh... I know of at least a half dozen 84's around here and i have never seen the bottom of the legs rusted out like you describe. If they are having this problem its most likely due to bad fork seals, poor maintenance, ripped boots on the forks, etc. I had mine apart to clean and relube them as well as replace the boots and they look good here. My 84 has seen a life of work on a farm and it has some rust but the forks are fine.

Finding parts for the rear ends is easy peasy. I rebuilt one about a year ago. DrATV and a few ebay sources have all the parts to do a complete rebuild. I haven't really found anything unavailable for the 84 other than that sub trans shifter knob. Mine got broke so i had to make up a new knob for it. Other than that just about every part on the trike is easy enough to get. The only part that was totally NLA was the headlight wiring grommet but now we have a fantastic repo of that available.
