I know I need new Reed valves for it. But what brand n style? It's stock virgin motor this first set being replaced on it. I'm looking for cheap but good set. Any one able to help out?

This is somewhat subjective bit I prefer the Boysen reeds. Boysen reeds give a bit more bottom end whereas the Vforce 3 reeds are more top end and give a bit more hit on the powerband but in my opinion the Boysen reeds are better for a general upgrade.

Is there a specific reason that you "need" new reeds? Or are you just looking for an upgrade? Just reeds are not going to give you a noticeable increase in performance. They will work "with" other upgrades, such as air filter, carb, etc., but by themselves...you'll likely never notice a difference.

Boyesen always used to offer OEM style replacement reed petals if you don't want to spend the $$$ on swapping the entire reedcage. If they still offer them that would be a more economical option.

As far as pricing, all the major brands (ESR, Duncan, V-Force, Boyesen, etc) are all in the same ballpark for entire reedcage setups. They will all run between $160 and $200 give or take a few bucks.
