ILL, MO Guys, Dont Bother

Went and looked at this pile today. Guy said the seat was a "9.5 out of 10". Said front fender and headlight was good. It was all garbage. Been sitting outside for probably 15 years, front fender was complete crap, Seat was hard as a rock and ready to break. Guy acted flexible on the phone, said come down look at it make an offer. Turned out to be a dip sh*t.

I made a reasonable offer to him, and he was a prick about it and refuses to put a price on it. Waste of my Sunday for sure..

I told him on the phone if the seat and front fender were what he said that I'd give him $400, he then said come look it you sound like you know moe about these than I do. I started off at $200. He Said no. I offered him $300. He then told me that his "9.5" seat was worth $150. So I said how about I give you $300 and you keep your seat. He told me he didn't want to mess with selling anything seperate. He also told me on the phone he had had numerous people asking about it but knowbody showing up. Then when I offered him $300 and he kept the seat. He said "I get it your trying to lowball me, If you were the 5th person to come look at this I'd probably take it but you are the first, and my phones been blwoing up about it".

So in my eyes, I don't even think $450 would have bough it. It didn't have the correct wheels. The stock bars were bent. The mudflap would have been nice had there not been a broken tab on the back.

I guess in my eyes if the Trike had sat inside for the last 15 years It may have been worth more. Buy the sound of the guys ad everything was in good shape. I drover a 6 hour round trip and found a bunch of junk. Just trying to keep anybody else from wasting time.

Hopefully you find that gem next time to make up for the time/gas money wasted this time..

I too seen this ad and thought about calling him. I bet the dude has been getting alot of calls on it. When you don't list a price it does spark an interest. Let this dude deal with the other CL idiots for awhile, I bet he will come up with a price then.

I've seen that first video so many times I wont even watch it anymore. But the second video is new to me. That has to be the worst running blaster engine I have ever seen. That thing seems so doggy. It must be gear way high or on its last leg.

That is the first actual completed blaster 200x I have seen. Most guys try but never finish that kind of project. Also the 2wheeling into a brake slide move has got me waiting for some wet grass so I can give that a try. Very cool! Kind of like how you can cut a dirt bike around.

2 wheeled brake slides. Ive been practicing those for a while. Good luck is all i can say lol. Takes a while to get the hang of it.
