Simple answer to fitting on the 250sx, is NO!

It is an ok deal, but they have been on there for a while.

Heres another one (Craigslist) (http://worcester.craigslist.org/mcy/3160164794.html) that i want to call on, thinking if it doesnt need too much, I may make an offer.

Thats been on there for a while too, it is far from pretty but might be worth $200-$250 I would say.

If I had extra money right now, I would consider that too.

That 200X doesn't look like an awful deal but expect to have to go through the entire machine for that price.

For the SX, I'd suggest these- http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-Maier-1985-87-Honda-Atc-250SX-250-SX-Three-Wheeler-REAR-Fender-RED-OR-WHITE-/350573521692?pt=Motors_ATV_Parts_Accessories&hash=item519fcf6b1c&vxp=mtr

I think I'd walk from that one unless you got a nice pile of parts for it..I just grabbed a complete runner for $450. Got it last thursday and rode for 40+ miles in trails on saturday with no issues. That was a good deal

and yes, The plugs are on the right side, The later years had them on the left iirc. I know they did in '86

That 200x uses the same or similar parts to the trx 200sx right? I have 2 stators, 2 rectifiers, 5 cdi's, 5 or 6 coils, and several other associated parts. I've also got a parts atc250sx trs200sx. I'm thinking that I have enough misc. parts to get it/ keep it running so long as it is the right price, I'll try to go Pawn Stars on the guy.

3 wheelers around here are bringing a small premium compared to MI. They arent a ton of them around and when you find them and they are want you want, you sometimes have to pay to get them. I paid $450 for an 85 SX 3 yrs ago that runs but it is damn ugly and needs works, $1050 for an 86 350X, that again ran but needed some work 2 yrs ago.

Negatory. The 86-87 200X shared some parts with the TRX200SX, but not a whole lot. The 83-85 200X is a completely different animal.

well that changes everything.... At least its not far from me. It doesn't hurt to look. maybe ill get some better pictures.

you know I do have a 250sx parts bike that needs a front end. If the forks are still holding oil, i might get it just for the parts to get a 3rd bike on the trails.

Don't quote me, but I highly doubt the forks will fit a 250SX. The entire front end can swap over if that's what you're referring to.

That's what I meant, it's a complete frame, engine, rearend, etc... just missing rear tires and complete frontend. trees, forks, tire, bars etc... whole shebang.

my other 250sx has the 200x frontend conversion.
