84 200es headlight help please

84 200es everything works as should. i do not have the battery yet. so i pull start. tested wires found power to all wires except front headlight and rear light. assumed voltage regulator.. replaced and not the issue. Kinda stuck.. Stator?? or any other suggestions would be great!!
