hey guys, I have been looking to buy a honda 3 wheeler for a while now. I found a new mint 84 125M on Ebay right near where we were vacationing in PA. I scooped it up for 525$ ;) This thing is in great shape and runs mint. I just did a oil change. But I read there is a filter under the Clutch. I read I need a "Clutch Outer cover Gasket" and a "crankcase cover gasket" But Im confused on where To buy these and also what the part #'s are. thanks for any help. I know I also need a Oil filter. I did not even know it had one until I found the manual online here http://www.oscarmayer.net/atc/manuals/

Ohh and I had a 200 big red as a kid. These things are so much fun to ride. Im 38 years old now and riding this thing made me feel like a kid again. but im just a tad large for it haha. Its really just to take my 2 year old up and down the street. Plus it fits under my truck cap and in my shed.

Hello and welcome to 3WW!

Nice little 125 you scored there.

Here is one of many places you should still be able to get parts and gaskets for your ride.. http://www.bikebandit.com/houseofmotorcycles/1985-honda-atc125m/o/m1875#sch10630

Also, try http://www.rockymountainatvmc.com/

welcome, i may be wrong here, but i believe the filter you are thinking of is actually a screen in the bottom of the engine to filter out any particles on the oil pump ?? honda wouldnt put an oil filter like we are thinking of inside the engine , behind the clutch and requiring too take the engine all apart... anyway thats my take on it ..but maybe ive been in too many crash's....... good luck and nice trike...

I went to my local hardware store and picked up high temp gasket remaker and its working perfectly no problems yet for the crankcase.

how important is it to clean or replace this filter? the manual that I downloaded says to clean it after 30 hours. Im sure this thing has more than 30 hours on it. Haha
