Got an 84 200es Big Red, shes been sitting most of the summer unfortunately (no time with work) she gets regular starts to keep her blood flowing (still starts 1st tap of the starter)

But the problem is, when I leave her for a little while to completely warm up or even if I take her for a spin up and down the street, when I park it and shut it off, gas leaks out of the tubes coming out of the carb...

Anyone know why this is happening? or how to stop it? 1 time it drained nearly half the tank over 2 days, and now today after running her shes leaking again (not as bad) so i shut the tank off to stop it only comes out of 1 of the 2 tubes

can anyone help?

Cheers!

Is it possible these tubes are supposed to be like tied in an upward position with the open end above the carb or something to stop the gas spilling?
Sort of like the concept of when you siphon gas you need the open end lower than the tank to get it to siphon out?
