There's a westcoast sticker on it but since they can't get the year right, it makes me wonder. if it is in fact a westcoast, it would be a good deal.

Yes, that is indeed a Westcoast swingarm. You can see the aluminum dogbone mount. There is some engraving on the jug so I would guess the jug has been ported or maybe a KX jug. The flywheel doesn't look oem to me but may be wrong..

The price is right around what that swingarm is worth..

Good eye on the flywheel Doug. I have one very close to one pictured a fella recently sent me to see if it was something I could use in my Tecate flywheel exchange.
Main problem with one I have in hand (and good chance on one pictured too) is the magnet placement in so far as polarity, 180 degree off.
Or in other words exact opposite in correct magnet placement inside of flywheel.

What a steal. They wrote a bibliography on that cylinder! Does that mean it's that much faster lol.

Concur with Dcreel, that's a Westcoaster, by the aluminum dogbone mount.

looks like it says tecate on the jug. cant make out the others, split or something. if you had some time and patience you could part whatever else is good and wind up with a cheap westcoast!

Good eyes guys; you know that owner would jump at 250$ cash.

Oh what a nice deal that would be!!

I have a friend that lives in Deer Park, Wa. Next to impossible to get hold of but he's there. I've even got some cash (but it's for a cylinder for my 86). I just don't have the room or need for this...

My feeling is that you can't pass up a deal when it presents itself. Maybe thats why i have a million projects, haha
