before i get blasted for posting another tri z rear shock thread i just want to point out that as i can't read the classifieds i don't have the answers.

so hear goes. my tri z shock is blown. the piston has severe corrosion. I'm aware that warrior shocks with separate reservoir fit but the ones on ebay don't look to clever at the moment. i also hear that the works shocks last really well but the new price is a bit to high for me. so does anybody have anything for sale that i could use? a piston on its own might be a good start. or a full unit

Keep watching eaby for a used Works Quadstar or Stadium shock for Banshee or Warrior. Both have remote resevior and last a very long time. I have one of each. Paid $200 for the QS and $300 for the Stadium.

Warrior shock works well, but Yamaha OEM shocks have a very short lifespan, and I found myself loking for replacements almost annually.

even if it is blown out the shaft looks good as mines corroded
