Info on the yamaha 225 trike

Hi. Does anyone have info on this trike. Think it is 1986? Any build numbers? Value?

Looks like an '86 225 DRN. My somewhat uneducated guess at value would be around 800 depending on condition. Take a look at ebay and see what they're going for. Is this yours or one you're looking at? I've always wanted one...... Had an 84 225 DX, but always wanted the DRN with reverse.

Yeah. I picked it up last week. Cleaned the carb and it started first pull. Think you are right says 1986 225 drs. Can't find many like it out there...

I have the same machine, I bought it from the original Yamaha dealer about 8 years ago in PA. I paid close to $2000. It was like new only 2 or 3 scratches on it all original, not faded at all no boot marks or any wear at all on it. The market has really changed since then, but I'd say yours is easily worth $1000 if its really clean. You got to find the right buyer (someone who is collecting it not going to ride it). I hate to say it but Ebay it.
