If the airbox is now the fuel tank, how is the stock airbox used?

That's Jeddy's Tri-Z. I've seen it run at the dunes in OK.. Real nice conversion..

Yeah, this is the same Ban-Z that I've had for a while. I just don't ride it much so I'm itching to build another 350X project. If I keep the Z around I'm going to pee money into a HUGE motor, and that's not really the direction I want to go with it since it's pretty fun the way it is. The out of frame pipes suck, they bounce around a lot and as you can see in the pic aren't always aligned just right (sometimes they are, sometimes not, in the pic they just happened to not be). I have a full set of Toomey T5's that would go with it that I was going to use to make in-frames.

The Z rides really well. After my 600X project I knew I wanted to build something that handled well. So this one has stock Z geometry other than the stretched swingarm (which was necessary to keep the front wheel down). If I keep it and do the in-frames, I'll probably shorten the arm another 2 inches just to make it a little more trailable. I also plan on putting some radiator scoops on it to finish it out. Just didn't get to it before throwing it on eBay.

This thing will make someone a great trike. It is really well put together and hasn't given me any problems (other than the floppy pipes, haha). It's easy to start, easy to ride, gets a LOT of attention, and is a great conversation piece.
