Got to thank this site for the info im soaking in, needed a new caliper for the rear end of the 250r and was NOT about to drop coin for a factory replacement and most of the used ones were in no better shape(and way over priced) so I went on the search and found a couple guys here that swapped over to a YZ front caliper-- caliper and pads off ebay was $29 shipped, a few minutes of work on the stock brake stay and it bolted right on up like it was meant for the bike---Thanks again for some good reading!

going to need more info on this lol how did you do that? exactly? did you shim the caliper onto there or was it a direct bolt up? awesome conversion man!

here is the thread I found the info on http://www.3wheelerworld.com/showthread.php/65919-250r-rear-brake-mod?highlight=

I personally used a 1999 YZ125 front caliper it did not need any shims at all, just had to slot the bracket holes and remove some meat from the bracket under the caliper to give the rubber boot on the caliper a bit more clearance

Made up some decals for the swing arm--Not the exact factory font but made the back not look so plain, going to re-do the number place on the rear fenders and possibly a few others--I know I can buy factory replacements but I have a plotter so its cheaper going this route lol
