Hey have a couple questions just picked up a 1985 250r for 1g ....she flyssss...my question is what sparkplugs should i run in it...was told run 32/1 mix and 8s or 9s for plugs....also where the petcock meets the tank it leaks a little i removed it from the tank there is no gasket there is this right?...thanks!

There is an oring that goes over the strainer tube. It seals between the petcock flange and tank. Since you have the petcock off, you might as well replace the sealing disk in the petcock too.

Your fuel mix is dependent on what oil you use. I run Castrol 927 mixed at 32:1 with premium gas. No Ethynol.... with a B8ES NGK plug
