Hey,
Im needing to replace the bearings in my 1984 200ES andi wanted to know a few things, how do i remove the colar up against the brake drum on the axle , do i have to take cases apart to knock the bearings out, and what holds the axel in place? Ive never done this before and dont want to mess anything up :-( I have the bearings ordered from ebay
Any advice will help. Thanks so muchhh

The PDF shows a bearing built into the brake cover, is that the one i need to replace? or the one in the axel houseing?

well i now know there is NO bearing left in my break drum, only the race frozen onto the axel next to the brake hub, :-( i managed to move the axel about 1/4 an inch out to the left thats about it. The bearing colar come off and the brake hub came off.
Is the axel free to knock out now???
