I gotta pull the carb before I go riding again, she kept running out of fuel on me and dieing plug never showed lean and it never got hot- not much to these carbs but ill be busy most of this week and may not get to it right away--

Awesome video. Check out my videos on YouTube under the same username - gunoskey3. They're pretty much all of my '87 Big Red.

Thanks, I went through the carb had a little something in one jet the rest was clean BUT the majority of the problem was the float was set wrong-- previous person to be in this carb set it with the valve compressed and the floats were setting at different heights to top it off--specs for this carb (keihin PJ) is 16mm surface to the top of the float (float tab just touching the needle valve) while I was at it I pulled the petcock and cleaned the screens--also new clutch cover gasket and oil seal on the shift rod--no more leaks!! Took it out for a quick carb tune tonight and she is running very well now --- she'll be up for swap soon ;)

Sounds good. Fast trikes in stock form and faster with a Paul Turner pipe. Someone will make out good on the swap, for sure.

It now has a home in Missouri, swapped it over for a 1991 lt250r (power valve motor) will be a good winter project
