Boysen reeds

While I was swapping bottom ends on my tri z I decided to
Put boysen reeds in it. Can any one tell me if I am suppose
To use the stock reed stoppers along with boysen reeds or no
Stoppers?

The steel stock stoppers are not re-used. Just the parts in the reed kit.
